(Re) Thinking student movements in Latin America:
a century of lessons
Abstract
Placing emphasis on the importance of student movements in Latin America implies pointing out the need to continue carrying out studies, from different perspectives, that take into account the diversity of struggles, actors, repertoires, incidents and political-ideological positions. of such collective actors that have had a broad presence in the region. Write a book that synthesizes and gives an account of the impacts that Latin American student movements have in the search for democracy, social justice and the right to education — giving an overview that begins with the Córdoba reform and reaches to the present day with the emergence of the powerful feminist movement—is not an easy task. Hence the initial importance of this book by the Argentine sociologist Nicolás Dip.
